# Run support from your Discord server with Frosvo

Updated: 2026-10-22

Add a bot to your Discord server so members open tickets with /support, your team answers from the Frosvo inbox, and replies arrive as direct messages with a Reply button.

If your community lives on Discord, give it a proper support desk without leaving Discord.

## What you need

- A Discord server where you can add bots.
- An application and bot in the **Discord Developer Portal**.
- Owner or **Channels** permission in Frosvo.

## Steps

1. In the Developer Portal create an **application** and add a **bot**.
2. Copy the **Application ID**, the **Public key** (64 characters) and the **Bot token**.
3. Invite the bot to your server using the `bot` and `applications.commands` scopes.
4. In Frosvo go to **Channels**, click **Add channel** and choose **Discord**. Pick the website, name the connection and paste the Application ID, Public key and Bot token.
5. Click **Save and check**. Frosvo saves the connection and checks the account in one go. Frosvo adds a **/support** command to your application.
6. Click **Turn on messaging**.
7. Copy the address from the **Steps to turn it on** panel in Frosvo and paste it into **Interactions Endpoint URL** in the Developer Portal. Discord requires a correct signature, and Frosvo checks it.

## How it works for members

A member types `/support` in your server and describes the problem. A conversation appears in your **Inbox** from Discord. Your replies go back as **direct messages** from the bot with a **Reply** button, so the member can continue the conversation privately.

## Tips

- Tell your community that `/support` is the way to reach you.
- Use [shared replies](/docs/saved-replies-and-macros) for frequent questions.
- Keep the bot token private; regenerate it in the portal if it is ever exposed.

## Troubleshooting

If the Interactions Endpoint will not save, confirm messaging is enabled and the URL was copied in full. The [troubleshooting guide](/docs/troubleshooting) has more. See [Telegram](/docs/telegram-setup) for a similar bot setup, the [inbox guide](/docs/inbox) for answering, and the [channels overview](/docs/channels).

## Common questions

**Can members open a ticket from a direct message?** They start with /support in your server. After that, your replies reach them as direct messages, and they can answer with the Reply button.

**What if the bot goes offline?** Members will not get answers until it is back. Check that the bot is still in your server, and open the channel with **Edit** and click **Save and check** in Frosvo.

## Common questions

### How do members start a conversation?

By typing /support in your Discord server. Frosvo adds that command to your application when you save and verify.

### How do customers get my replies?

As direct messages from your bot, with a Reply button so they can answer.

### Where do I find the Application ID and public key?

In the Discord Developer Portal, on your application's General Information page.

### Why does Discord say the endpoint is invalid?

Frosvo only answers Discord's check once messaging is enabled. Enable it first, then paste the callback.
