Live chat with an AI assistant that hands over to your team, and one shared inbox for your site, email and messaging apps.

== Description ==

Frosvo Live Chat adds a fast chat to every page of your WordPress site. Your team answers from one shared inbox, and an AI assistant can answer the routine questions from your own pages and articles — handing the conversation to a person when it isn't sure, when the visitor asks for one, or when the question is about their own account or order.

= What you get =

* **A chat on every page** in your colours, with your greeting, on desktop and phones.
* **One shared inbox** for website chat, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram and more, so nothing gets lost between tools.
* **An AI assistant (paid plans)** that answers only from the knowledge you give it, shows its source and hands over to your team with the reason written down.
* **Signed-in customers recognised** — optionally, the plugin tells Frosvo the name and email of signed-in users, so nobody has to type them again.
* **WooCommerce orders beside the chat** when you connect the WooCommerce integration in Frosvo.
* **Several websites, one inbox** — each site keeps its own chat look and knowledge.
* **Answer from anywhere** — the web desk in any browser, or the Frosvo app for Windows.

The chat window and the inbox come with Frosvo's free plan, with no time limit. The AI assistant, more seats and automation are on the paid plans.

= How it works =

The plugin adds Frosvo's chat script to your site's public pages. The chat itself runs on Frosvo's service, which stores conversations so your team can answer them. You need a free Frosvo account to get a site key.

== Installation ==

1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New, search for "Frosvo Live Chat", then install and activate it.
2. Create a free account at [frosvo.com](https://frosvo.com/signup) and add your website. Frosvo gives you a site key (Settings → Websites).
3. In WordPress, go to Settings → Frosvo Chat, paste the site key and save. The chat appears on your site.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Is it free? =

Yes. The plugin is free, and Frosvo's free plan gives you the chat, the shared inbox and the apps with no time limit and no card. The AI assistant is on the paid plans.

= Does the chat slow down my site? =

The script is small and loads in the page footer; the full chat window only loads when a visitor opens it.

= Does it work with WooCommerce? =

Yes. The chat works on every WooCommerce page, and when you connect the WooCommerce integration in Frosvo your team sees the customer's orders next to the conversation.

= Can I hide the chat from administrators? =

Yes, and it is on by default: people who can manage the site don't see the chat, so your team never starts a conversation by accident.

= Will the AI make things up? =

It answers only from the knowledge you give it — your pages, articles, documents and written answers — and hands the chat to your team when it can't answer from that.

== External services ==

This plugin connects your site to Frosvo, a live chat service, which is what makes the chat work. Without it the plugin does nothing.

* **What is loaded:** on every public page (unless the visitor can manage the site and "hide from administrators" is on), the visitor's browser loads the chat script `w.js` from the Frosvo address in the settings (by default https://frosvo.com).
* **What is sent:** when a visitor opens the chat (or agrees to live visitor tracking, if you turn that on in Frosvo), their messages, files they attach, the page they are on, their browser details and their IP address are sent to Frosvo so your team can answer them. If you turn on "Signed-in visitors", the name and email address of signed-in WordPress users are also sent when they visit a page. Nothing is sent from your server.
* **Who provides it:** Frosvo — [Terms of service](https://frosvo.com/legal/terms), [Privacy policy](https://frosvo.com/legal/privacy).
