Privacy policy
Last updated 10 October 2026
Draft. This text is being reviewed and will be finalised with the operating company’s registered details before Frosvo opens to customers.
This policy explains how the company that operates Frosvo (“Frosvo”, “we”) handles personal data. It covers two different roles:
- Our customers and website visitors — people who sign up for Frosvo or visit this website. Here we are the controller.
- Our customers’ end users — people who chat with a business that uses Frosvo. Here the business is the controller and we process the data only on its instructions, under our data processing agreement. If you chatted with a business, contact that business about your data.
What we collect as controller
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, password (hashed), company and workspace details | To create and run your account | Contract |
| Billing details: plan, currency, billing address, tax ID, invoices. Card details are held by the payment provider, not by us | To charge for paid plans and meet tax and accounting duties | Contract; legal obligation |
| Usage and technical data: sign-ins, IP address, browser, actions in the desk, error logs | To keep the service secure, fix problems and prevent abuse | Legitimate interests |
| Messages you send us | To answer you | Legitimate interests; contract |
| Product and billing emails | To tell you about your account, payments and important changes | Contract |
We don’t sell personal data and we don’t use advertising cookies. See the cookie notice.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run Frosvo — hosting, email delivery, payment processing and AI model providers — under contracts that protect the data. The current list is on the subprocessors page. We also share data when the law requires it.
International transfers
Some providers are outside the UK or EEA. Where they are, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum) to protect the data.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as your account is open, then up to 30 days to allow an export, then it is deleted. Invoices and billing records for as long as tax law requires (typically 6–7 years). Security logs for up to 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to complain to a data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). To use them, contact support@frosvo.com. We answer within one month.
Security
See our security page for how we protect data.
Changes
We will post updates here and tell account owners about material changes.
