Windows
Windows 10 or 11
Version 1.0.0
Windows may warn you the first time (“Windows protected your PC”). Click More info, then Run anyway. The warning appears because the installer isn't code-signed yet. The Microsoft Store version installs without this warning.
The app updates itself. You sign in through your browser, so Google, Microsoft, single sign-on and two-step verification all work.
What the app adds
Notifications that open the chat
New conversations and replies show as system notifications; clicking one opens that conversation.
Unread count everywhere
On the dock or taskbar icon and in the tray, across all your workspaces.
Several workspaces side by side
Add more than one workspace or server. Each keeps its own sign-in, and all of them notify you.
Keyboard first
Show or hide Frosvo from anywhere, switch workspaces with Ctrl/⌘+1…9, find on the page with Ctrl/⌘+F.
Calls and screen sharing
Camera, microphone and a picker for the screen or window you share; your computer stays awake during the call.
Your status, handled
Online, Away or Do not disturb. Lock your screen or step away and Frosvo sets you to Away so chats go to teammates.
Quiet hours
Choose the hours you're off and notifications and sounds stay quiet.
Reply from the notification
Answer a visitor straight from the notification, without opening the desk.
Screenshots into replies
Capture part of your screen and it's attached to the reply you're writing.
Sign-out that means it
Signing out or removing a workspace ends its session on the server too.
The same desk, at home on your computer
The desktop app opens the same Frosvo desk you use in the browser, so every feature — live chat and the shared inbox, tickets, contacts, campaigns, reports and the AI assistant — is there from day one, and new features arrive without updating the app. Your plan and its limits come from your account, exactly as on the web.
Around the desk, the app adds the things a browser tab can't do well: notifications that take you to the right conversation, the unread count on your taskbar, a status that follows you when you leave your desk, and several workspaces running at once.
Signing in, and keeping it safe
Sign in with your email and password in the app, or with your usual browser — that's how Google, Microsoft, GitHub and single sign-on work, and your password manager stays where it is. The browser hands a one-time code back to the app; the app never sees or stores your password.
Each workspace keeps its own sign-in. Signing out — in the app, on the web or by an administrator — ends the session on our servers, so a lost laptop is one click from being signed out. More in our security overview.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Frosvo desktop app?
It's the Frosvo support desk — live chat, the shared inbox, tickets, contacts and the AI assistant — as an app on your computer, with system notifications, an unread badge, keyboard shortcuts and automatic Away when you step away.
Is it different from Frosvo in the browser?
The desk itself is the same, connected to the same account, so everything you do shows up in both. The app adds what a browser tab can't: notifications that open the right chat, the unread count on the taskbar, your status handled for you, several workspaces side by side and replies straight from a notification.
How do I sign in?
With your Frosvo email and password, or through your usual browser — that's how Google, Microsoft, GitHub and single sign-on work in the app. Your browser hands you back to the app, signed in. Two-step verification works as on the web.
Is my data stored on my computer?
No. Conversations and settings live on your Frosvo account. The app never stores your password, and signing out or removing a workspace ends its session on our servers too.
Which systems can I use it on?
Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) and Windows 11 today. On other systems, the Frosvo desk works in any modern browser with the same features.
