- 4Allow notificationsWindows asks the first time Frosvo shows a notification. Allow it, and new chats appear even when Frosvo is minimised or in the tray.
New to Frosvo? Create a free workspace first, then add the chat to your website — the desktop app guide walks through every step.
Made for Windows
Frosvo for Windows is the full Frosvo desk — live chat, the shared inbox, tickets, contacts and the AI assistant — wrapped in the things only a Windows app can do.
Notifications that open the chat
A new conversation or reply shows as a Windows notification. Click it and Frosvo opens on that conversation — or press Reply and answer without opening the app.
Unread count on the taskbar
A red badge on the taskbar button and a count in the system tray show how many chats are waiting, across all your workspaces.
Your status, handled
Set Online, Away or Do not disturb. Lock your screen or step away for ten minutes and Frosvo sets you to Away so new chats go to teammates; when you're back you're Online again.
Quiet hours
Pick the hours you're off — say 18:00 to 09:00 — and Frosvo keeps notifications and sounds quiet during them.
Taskbar menu
Right-click Frosvo on the taskbar for your recent chats, your status and a new window.
Screenshots into replies
Press Ctrl + Alt + S, drag over what you want to show, and the picture is attached to the reply you're writing.
Several workspaces
Run every workspace side by side, each signed in separately, with one row showing all their unread counts.
Calls and screen sharing
Talk to visitors on audio or video calls and share a screen or a single window; Frosvo keeps your PC awake during the call.
Starts with Windows
Open Frosvo at sign-in, start it in the tray, and keep it running when you close the window so chats still reach you.

Updates, company networks and privacy
Always up to date
Frosvo checks for new versions in the background and asks before restarting. Everything new in the desk reaches the app the moment it ships — no update needed for that.
Works on company networks
Frosvo follows your computer's proxy settings. You can also set a proxy server in Preferences; if it needs a password, Frosvo asks and never stores it.
Your data stays on your account
The app never stores your password; signing out ends the session on our servers too. Crash reports are off unless you turn them on. Read our security overview.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Windows say “Windows protected your PC”?
Windows SmartScreen shows that message for apps it hasn't seen from a code-signed publisher yet. Click More info, then Run anyway, and the installer starts. If you install from the Microsoft Store instead, there is no warning, because the Store signs the app.
Which versions of Windows are supported?
Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 or later, on 64-bit PCs. The Microsoft Store version also runs natively on Windows on Arm devices.
Do I need administrator rights to install it?
No. Frosvo installs for your own Windows account, in your user folder, so it works on most company laptops without asking IT.
How do updates work?
Frosvo checks for a new version when it starts and every few hours, downloads it in the background and asks whether to restart now or later. Store installs are updated by the Microsoft Store.
Why don't I see notifications?
Check that Windows Focus assist or Do not disturb is off, that notifications for Frosvo are allowed in Windows Settings → System → Notifications, and that your own Frosvo status isn't Do not disturb or inside quiet hours (Preferences).
Can I use more than one Frosvo workspace?
Yes. Add each workspace in Preferences. Each keeps its own sign-in, all of them notify you, and the desk's sidebar shows every workspace with its unread count so you can switch in one click.
Does Frosvo for Windows work behind a company proxy?
Yes. It uses your computer's proxy settings by default; in Preferences → Network you can switch to no proxy or enter a proxy server, and Frosvo asks for the proxy's user name and password if it needs them (they're never saved).
How do I uninstall it?
Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Frosvo and choose Uninstall. Your conversations stay safe on your Frosvo account; uninstalling only removes the app from this computer.
