What the addon module does
The module adds the Frosvo chat to every page of your WHMCS client area through WHMCS's own hooks, so it works with the standard and custom client-area themes and survives WHMCS updates. You can also show it in the admin area if your team wants it there.
When a client is signed in, the module tells Frosvo their name and email (you can switch this off). For the full picture — services, domains, unpaid invoices and one-click payment reminders beside each chat — connect the WHMCS integration in Frosvo with an API credential you create in WHMCS.
Everything else happens in Frosvo: your team answers from the shared inbox, the AI assistant answers from your own content and hands over when it should, and email, WhatsApp and social messages arrive in the same place. Read live chat for WHMCS for tips and what your team sees beside each chat.

How to install the WHMCS addon module
- Download the module zip from this page and unzip it.
- Upload the modules/addons/frosvo folder into your WHMCS installation, so it sits at modules/addons/frosvo.
- In WHMCS, go to System Settings → Addon Modules, find Frosvo Live Chat and click Activate.
- Click Configure, paste your site key from Frosvo (Settings → Websites), choose who may manage the module under Access Control, and save.
- Optional: in Frosvo, install the WHMCS integration to see each client's services, domains and invoices beside the chat.
Settings
- Site key
- Identifies your website in Frosvo. Find it in Frosvo under Settings → Websites; each website you add there has its own key.
- Frosvo address
- Where the chat is loaded from. Leave it as https://frosvo.com unless you run your own Frosvo server.
- Signed-in clients
- On by default: the client's name and email are sent to Frosvo when they are signed in to the client area.
- Admin area
- Off by default. Tick it to show the chat in the WHMCS admin area too.
Updating
Upload the new modules/addons/frosvo folder over the old one. WHMCS keeps the module's settings.
Removing
Deactivate the module in System Settings → Addon Modules, then delete the modules/addons/frosvo folder. Conversations stay in Frosvo.
If the chat doesn't show
The chat doesn't appear
Check that the site key is filled in and matches the website in Frosvo, then open your site in a private window (signed out of the client area). Clear any page cache after changing settings.
You use a custom client-area theme
The chat is added by WHMCS's footer hook. If your theme's footer template leaves out {$footeroutput}, add it back before the closing body tag.
Your site sends a Content Security Policy
Allow https://frosvo.com in script-src and frame-src (and your own Frosvo address if you changed it), because the chat loads a script and a frame from there.
Still stuck? See installing the chat or contact us.
What is sent to Frosvo
The addon module makes no calls from your server. Visitors' browsers load the chat from Frosvo, and when someone opens the chat their messages, attachments, the page they're on, browser details and IP address go to Frosvo so your team can answer. With the signed-in option on, the user's name and email are sent too. See the privacy policy and security.

WHMCS addon module: questions and answers
Is the WHMCS module free?
Yes. The module is free, and Frosvo's free plan includes the chat and the shared inbox. The AI assistant, more seats and automation are on the paid plans.
Where do the client's services and invoices come from?
From the WHMCS integration in Frosvo, which reads them through the WHMCS API with a credential you create. The module itself only adds the chat and passes on the signed-in client's name and email.
Can I put the same chat on my marketing site?
Yes. Add the same website's snippet to your main site, or add it as a second website in Frosvo; pre-sales and support chats arrive in one inbox.
Will the AI assistant answer billing questions?
Questions about a client's own invoices or services are handed to your team, who see the account beside the chat. The assistant answers general questions from your help articles.
Can I answer chats from my phone?
Yes. Open the Frosvo desk in your phone's browser and turn on notifications; on a computer, use any browser or the Frosvo app for Windows. Every conversation from your site is waiting in the same inbox.
What happens when nobody is online?
Set opening hours in Frosvo. Outside them, visitors can leave their email and your reply reaches them there; on the paid plans, the AI assistant keeps answering from your own knowledge.
